Urban Wilderness Gardening Workshop through The
    Oakhurst Community Garden Project

Join us in the Goddess Garden Atlanta to experience a unique eco-friendly, non-
invasive method of gardening. Urban Wilderness Gardening, taught by Shasta
Zaring, will show you how to interact with nature, create habitat, and work with
the existing Georgia plant species. This form recycles all garden materials and
uses no pesticides or herbicides.  Zaring’s style of gardening is a form of deep
ecology, creating harmony and rapport with nature and the spirit of the land. As
Shasta says, “A bit of wilderness is good for the soul.”
